Diocese of Allentown Bishop Alfred Schlert on Tuesday made a public apology to the survivors of sex abuse, their loves ones and the faithful. It came in response to a nearly 900-page grand jury report that included accusations of sexual assaults made against nearly three dozen diocesan priests over the course of several decades.
